The Probate Judge is responsible for applying the law to the facts to cases brought before the bench, some of which include adoptions, guardianships, conservatorships, probating wills, mental health commitments, as well as overseeing elections in Calhoun County.
It is vital that the Probate Judge has the education and experience to perform the job from the first day on the job. Shirley has that education and more than a decade of that experience.
